Urban planning and development addresses questions about how people live, work, and play. It guides orderly development in urban, suburban, rural, and regional areas.

We draw on multiple disciplinary inputs from within the team, including environmental and social science, heritage, and economics. With a multi-faceted approach, we work alongside private and public sector clients to:
- Ensure the efficient transport of goods, services and people via roads and other linear infrastructure
- Facilitate the equitable distribution of important resources such as water and electricity
- Assess and protect areas of important cultural, social, and environmental significance
- Prepare detailed policy and processes to effectively direct project planning
- Work with clients and communities to collaboratively develop more sustainable and liveable communities through the application of 鈥榩lacemaking鈥 and space activation 鈥 to enhance happiness, health, and community wellbeing
- Provide for water sensitive urban design, and contribute to nature positive outcomes
